On April 22, 2022, an international conference on "Constitutional and international aspects of the upholding of the rule of law" will be held to celebrate the 30-th anniversary of Kazakhstan's membership in the UN and the 10-th anniversary of joining the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe.
The forum is organized by the Constitutional Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, the Sorbonne Institute-Kazakhstan, the UN Office in Kazakhstan and the Venice Commission.
The Forum will be held in a hybrid mode. Heads of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leaders and representatives of reputable international organizations, as well as prominent legal scholars are expected to participate in its work.
The conference participants will discuss the results and achievements of Kazakhstan's fruitful cooperation with the UN and the Venice Commission, as well as prospects for further cooperation in the promotion of the rule of law.
