On Thursday 12 of April 2018, ISK welcomed the Greek lecturer Georges Stassinakis to introduce to the audience a little known Greek author: Nikos Kazantzaki.
The conference theme was: "Nikos Kazantzaki, his work, his thoughts, his links with France and his trip in 1929 to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan."
After a short presentation of himself, Georges Stassinakis introduced the Greek author, his life, his beliefs, his life objectives. He also introduced the author's works that are worth getting better knowned in the world.
Nikos Kazantzaki wrote numerous book pages on Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turmenistan. He shows his love of this regional area and draws a wonderful description of it.
The conference was concluded with questions to Georges Stassinakis, and the audience then took a picture together with the lecturer.
