From October 16 to October 20 2017, as part of Abay University 90th anniversary, the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, together with the Studies on Central Asia French Insitute (IFEAC), conducts a training in "Psychology of Extreme Situations". This training was created for non-psychologists professionals and represents an innovation in Kazakhstan. Its aim is to train to emergency psychological help proficiencies in extreme situations. Among the participants, are present: representatives of Almaty and Taldykorgan Akimats (townhalls), the Red Cross organization of Kazakhstan, Almaty schools and universities teachers.
